Tech Harvest Capital is seeking a Medical Sales Area Manager to drive revenue and market penetration across Johor Bahru and neighboring regions. You will lead a regional sales team, manage key accounts in hospitals and clinics, and develop strategies based on market insights.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a track record of meeting sales targets in the medical device sector. Occasional travel within the assigned region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
• 4–5 years in medical sales with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of orthopedic implants and local healthcare market dynamics.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration in Penang/Kedah and Johor Bahru regions.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
• Analyze sales data and trends to forecast future sales and plan resource allocation accordingly.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
• Manage sales budgets and expenses to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales initiatives and business objectives.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in medical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the medical device industry, particularly in orthopedic implants, and knowledge of local healthcare market dynamics.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate with key stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region and work flexible hours as needed.
