Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sabah, Malaysia seeks a Sales Executive to engage customers, understand their requirements, and drive sales.

You will maintain relationships with existing clients, coordinate sales calls, meetings and quotations, and work with the Sandakan office and TK to record bookings.

Mandarin language ability is a plus; strong communication and quick response to inquiries are valued.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customer requirements and present to close a sale
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
• Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
• Gather market and customer information
• Negotiate on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
• Record sales and booking information and send copies to the Sandakan office and TK
• Make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and provide customers with quotations
• Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
• Update occupancy, record daily reservation and translate it into monthly report for reference
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone, fax and email
• Able to speak & write (mandarin) is an advantage
