Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a capable professional to understand client food testing needs and provide laboratory testing solutions. You will prepare quotations, process orders, and coordinate with laboratories and operations to ensure timely service delivery, while strengthening customer relationships.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, 2–3 years’ experience in related fields, Malaysian citizenship, own transport, and willingness to travel to client sites

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably Food Science/Technology, Microbiology or related).
• 2–3 years’ experience in food processing, laboratory testing or related industries is advantageous.
• Malaysian citizen. Possess own transport and able to travel to client sites within Johor and, when required, up to Melaka.
• Team player who is resourceful, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure.
• Willing to work overtime to meet targets and deadlines.
• Dynamic, target-oriented, and well-organized with good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Serve both new and existing clients by understanding their food testing needs and providing appropriate laboratory testing solutions.
• Communicate with customers to provide and obtain information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding laboratory testing and monitoring services.
• Assist the Business Account Manager in maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying opportunities to expand business partnerships.
• Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately and within the required timeframe.
• Coordinate effectively with the laboratory and operations departments to ensure work orders are completed on time and services are delivered according to schedule.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field, preferably in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with 2-3 years’ experience in food processing, laboratory testing, or related industries will have an added advantage.
• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
• Possess own transportation and be willing to travel to client sites within Johor and, when required, up to Melaka.
• A team player who is resourceful, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure.
• Willing to work overtime when required to meet business targets and deadlines.
• Dynamic, target-oriented, and well-organized, with good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
