Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive sales professional in Malaysia to present and promote point-of-care testing (POCT) devices to healthcare providers and facilities. You will organize meetings with clinicians and other professionals, negotiate terms, and drive sales growth through market analysis and strong customer relationships.
The role requires at least 2 years in medical device sales, with a solid grasp of scientific data, excellent communication, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware

To present, demonstrate and promote all point-of-care testing (POCT) products represented by the Company to existing and potential customers according to product-related market segments.
To organize appointments and meetings with customers, including Healthcare Professional (HCP), Clinician, Emergency Physician, Endocrinologist, Cardiologist, Haematologist, Anaesthesiologist, Paediatrician, Pathologist, Pharmacist, Point-of-Care Coordinator, Scientific Officer (SO), Medical Lab Technologist (MLT), Matron, Sister, Purchaser, etc.
To negotiate contract terms or tenders with relevant parties, follow up persistently until the deal is closed.
Conduct market surveys and customer surveys, monitor competitor’s activities, strategies, change of PIC, pricing etc to and maximize own opportunity to achieve sales growth.
Timely submission of monthly reports on GAP strategies (Grow – growth of existing account, Attack – competitor conversion, Penetration – new account) and other reports as and when required.
Updating the SWOT analysis, Ansoff Matrix, STP strategies.
Install medical device at respective sites and ensure high functionality of the device.
Perform testing and commissioning for assets in hospital setup.
Attend to troubleshooting calls by clients, troubleshooting any problem/alarm of the medical device within 4 to 6 hours and provide backup plan if problem persists.
Offering after-sales support services by assisting to upgrade software to the latest version when available, repair any breakdown mechanical parts of the medical device and so on.
Service the medical device following the Preventive Plan Maintenance (PPM) checklist every as scheduled and ensure a signed copy of service report is retained as company’s record.
Providing training and producing technical material for both sales team and customer.

Minimum of 2 years working experience in sales/marketing or equivalent the medical device or healthcare industry.
Have interest in science and able to grasp scientific knowledge as well as to digest and interpret scientific data.
Have interest, skills and knowledge in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Able to listen actively and articulate smoothly while communicating with others.
Respect and able to meet deadlines.
Computer literacy (e.g., MS office applications, databases, efficient online research etc).
Ability to identify and raise potential business risks.
Proactive, high performance, result oriented, ethical and have high integrity.
Demonstrate creative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Have self-discipline and take full ownership of the assignments/tasks given.
Willing to take initiative, go the extra miles and deliver beyond responsibilities or expectations.
