Job summary

Ophthalmic Instruments (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to drive product growth. You will promote ophthalmic and medical equipment to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals, conduct presentations, and build strong relationships.

Fresh graduates are welcome. You will travel for customer visits, demonstrations, and training, work with technical teams, and support installation and after-sales issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell ophthalmic and medical equipment to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits and support sales activities.
• Work closely with our technical teams to provide appropriate solutions to customers.
• Assist with product installation, basic troubleshooting, and after-sales support when required.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge, market developments, and competitor activities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business growth.

We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Sales Engineer to support our product growth.

We are a supplier of ophthalmic and medical equipment, serving hospitals, eye centres, clinics, and other healthcare professionals across Malaysia.

• Promote and sell ophthalmic and medical equipment to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for customers.

Requirements

• Candidates with experience in medical devices, ophthalmic equipment, healthcare, technical sales, or B2B sales will have an advantage.
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and conducting product demonstrations.
• Strong interest in technical products and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel for customer visits, demonstrations, exhibitions, and training when required.
• Possess self transportation.
