Job summary

Volo Active Resources is seeking a Medical Sales Specialist/Product Specialist based in Pulau Pinang & Kedah. You will promote and sell medical products to healthcare institutions and hospitals, building relationships with doctors and allied health professionals.

The role requires 1–3 years in medical sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic market. Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years in medical and hospital sales.
• Experience dealing with hospital procurement and staff.
• Familiar with tender processes and product trainings.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, deliver sales presentations, and maintain records of activities.
• Stay informed on new medical products and market trends.
• Create demand for products in government and private hospitals via doctors' endorsements.
• Monitor marketing plans and report variances to the manager.
• Provide monthly sales reports and conduct CME sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Oversee product lifecycle including development and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with team to compare products against competitors.
• Deliver product and sales training to the marketing team.
• Ensure compliance and monitor security certificates for requirements.

This is a full-time role for a Medical Sales Specialist/Product Specialist, to be based in Pulau Pinang & Kedah. The Medical Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting and selling medical products to healthcare institutions and hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, conduct sales presentations, provide customer service, and maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions
• Stay informed about new medical products and market trends
• Create demand for company's products in government hospitals and private hospitals through doctors' and allied health professionals' recommendations and endorsement
• Monitor marketing plans issued and report variances to manager in charge
• Provide monthly reports on sales performance, competitors' activities and conduct CME to healthcare professionals
• Monitor all aspects of product lifecycle, including long/short-term product development marketing
• Work as a team to gather in-depth knowledge of products versus current competition
• Conduct product and sales training for the marketing team
• Monitor security certificates and company compliance for requirements

About you

• Minimum 1-3 years in Medical Sales and Hospital Sales experience
• Experience in dealing with hospital procurement, ward-level staff, and/or specialists
• Familiar with tender processes, product presentations, and usage trainings
• Experience in wound care, surgical consumables, or medical devices would be a strong advantage
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
