Job summary

MODU System (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic SE/SM to grow MODU’s sales by expanding customer and distributor networks across Asia and beyond. The role involves delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations of Modular Plastic Chain, Belt Conveyor, and Robotic Solutions to potential clients and partners.

You will coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure on-time delivery, provide technical pre-sales support, and gather market intelligence to identify new business

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanical).
• Proficient in CAD/CAE software and pre-sales support.
• Experience in developing new agents/distributors.
• Strong presentation and client management skills.
• Excellent English, and Asian languages preferred.
• Willing to travel overseas and have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Expand customer and distributor network to achieve sales targets.
• Present layouts for Industrial Automation and provide cost estimates.
• Coordinate technical support to identify faults and long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with Project team to ensure on-time delivery and acceptance.
• Communicate automation and robotic solutions to partners and customers.
• Ensure propositions are technically sound and market-leading.

Job description

The SE/SM to develop business relationship and expanding customer and distributors networks for MODU’s Products-ranging from Modular Plastic Chain, Belt Conveyor to Industrial Automation and Robotic Solutions.

To do sales presentations, product demonstrations and participate in local & global trade show/exhibitions to promote MODU’s Manufacturing Turnkey Solution- from Gripper Conveyor, Continuous Elevator to Robotic Palletizing.

To provide input for product presentation, material , application notes and technical bulletin for publishing in websites or other marketing channels.

To gather market intelligence, identify customer needs and sales opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To achieve MODU’s sales targets by expanding customer and distributor network

Responsible for the presentation of layout design for Industrial Automation and cost estimation for sales enquiries.

To co-ordinate and provide technical supports to customer in identifying the related fault, rectification and long terms solutions through internal/external resources.

To co-ordinate with other teams, especially the Project team to ensure “ON TIME Delivery” and Final Acceptance by customer.

Effectively communicate automation and robotic solutions to MODU’s partners, customer and project teams

Ensure that propositions are technically sound, deliverable, competitive and representative of market leadership in the application of

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher Graduate Diploma/ Degree in Engineering ( Industrial) , (Mechatronic/Mechanical) or equivalent.

Required Skills:- Computer Aided Design in 2D/3D, CAE/CAD software pre-sales and support, industrial electrical /automation design.

Skills in Visual Components/IOT applications shall be an added advantage.

Significant 3 years plus experience as a technical solutions in a presales consulting environment,

Experience in developing new agents / distributors and managing agents / distributors

Strong presentation, executive client management and business development skills

Excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.

Strong English language skills, spoken and written, further Asian languages preferable

Able to travel overseas and possess own transport.

Strong ability to effectively manage time, activities, and responsibilities.
