Job summary

Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP) is the official Porsche importer and dealer for Malaysia, operating multiple Porsche Centres. We seek a marketing-minded sales professional to drive customer acquisition, retention and referral activity in a luxury automotive environment.

Ideal candidates hold a business/marketing degree, strong CRM and lead-generation skills, and familiarity with pricing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing or communications.
• Professional certifications in sales or retail management are a plus.
• Experience in luxury automotive sales or a sales-driven environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Good systematic marketing to gain and retain customers.
• Retain buyers as loyal customers and ensure delivery preparation.
• Follow up delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals.
• Locate prospects through national programs, directories and networks.
• Maintain prospective systems and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager on pricing and discounts to maximise returns.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Good systematic marketing to gain and retain customers.

• Retain buyer as loyal customer through :
• Ensuring vehicle is properly prepared for delivery
• Following up delivery to ensure customers satisfaction
• Asking for referrals for other prospects
• Exercise proper collections on payment and ensure its compliance.
• Locate prospective of new buyers through national prospective programs including current customers, telephone directories, trade registers, business contacts, personal acquaintances, prospect locator etc and other methods recommended by the Sales Manager and Dealer Principal.
• Maintain proper prospective system as required by Company or Principal.
• Familiarize with all relevant government legislations and regulations governing the motor trade.
• Ensure records and systems are maintained as required.
• To attend sales training and certification requirements when nominated by Company.
• Determine from time to time the viability of penetrating into competitor’s market.
• Work in close collaboration with Sales Manager or Dealer Principal on pricing and discounts in order to maximize returns on sales.

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree or Cert in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Other relevant fields could include Finance, Economics, or Management.
• Professional certifications in sales, customer relationship management (CRM), or retail management can be an added advantage.
• Industry-specific experience/training with certification (e.g., luxury automotive sales) is an added advantage

PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Proven excellent sales track record in the motor industry, especially with experience in the sale of automobiles
• Extensive client network and consistency in obtaining leads, with further sales conversion
• Strong knowledge of Vehicle product.
• Enjoy meeting people & Inquisitive mind to uncover customer’s needs.
• Experience in working with a continental automotive brand will be an added advantage.
