Job summary

AEON Co. (M) Bhd. is seeking a Sales Assistant for the Daiso Great Eastern Mall.

The role focuses on understanding customer needs and delivering excellent service, while promoting products and ensuring well-presented promotions and merchandise. Responsibilities include maintaining sales areas, stock-taking, and participating in training. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, 18+ years old, and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role in retail environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willingness to learn and participate in store promotions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with needs and inquiries and resolve questions with courtesy.
• Provide best service and promote products to customers.
• Prepare and maintain sales/promotional areas as directed by layout.
• Merchandise stock and ensure displays are neat and organized.
• Keep counters in order and assist with monthly stock-taking.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on products and policies.

Manage and understand customer needs and questions with flying colours.

Provide the best service and wise use a mechanism to promote product promotion.

Prepare sales / promotional area confirmed by the layout, ensure that no garbage / POP box and left behind enough and sufficient.

Prepare and provide merchandise.

Keeping counters for monthly stock-taking.

Attend training when necessary and appropriate.

Job Requirements :-

18 years old and above.

Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Have a strong interest in working in the retail sector.

Able to work shifts, overtime, work on weekends and public holidays.
