Job description

We are an established distributor of Quality Testing and Inspection Equipment serving the semiconductor and Electronics manufacturing industry.

We are seeking a full-time Sales & Applications Engineer for an on-site role located in Melaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, performing field service operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and carrying out maintenance and repair tasks. Additionally, the role involves engaging with clients professionally, maintaining effective communication, and identifying opportunities for service and sales growth within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell testing, inspection and measurement equipment to semiconductor and electronics customers
  • Provide technical consultation and solution recommendations
  • Perform equipment installation, commissioning, calibration and basic troubleshooting
  • Provide after-sales technical support and customer training
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and technical documentation
  • Liaise with principals for technical matters and product updates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Requirements
  • Possess at least Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or related certification
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel when required
  • Flexible, responsive, and able to work long and irregular hours or during weekends and Public Holiday if required
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin
  • Good communication and presentation skills
