About the role

We are seeking a Sales Advisor to join JU BROTHERS SDN BHD in Juru, Penang. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail team. As a Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. Your enthusiasm, product knowledge, and customer-focused approach will directly contribute to the success of our retail operations and the satisfaction of our customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Greeting customers warmly and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and providing expert recommendations to meet customer needs
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Maintaining an attractive and organised retail environment, including stock displays and merchandise presentation
• Assisting with stock management, inventory checks and replenishment of shelves
• Identifying customer needs and preferences to suggest relevant products and cross-selling opportunities
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally and courteously
• Achieving individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques
• Supporting promotional activities and campaigns to maximise sales and customer engagement
• Maintaining compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and loss prevention procedures

What we’re looking for

• Previous retail or sales experience is highly desirable, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
• Strong numeracy skills and competency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Excellent product knowledge and the ability to quickly learn about new products and services
• Outstanding organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
• A professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude towards work
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock
• Knowledge of consumer products and buying trends is an advantage
