Job summary

Links International in Selangor is seeking a Fire Safety Officer to conduct checks, remove hazards, and ensure fire safety systems comply with regulations. The role requires vigilance, coordination with authorities, and documentation of findings.

You will create occupant awareness, lead fire drills and table-top exercises, advise on improvements, and support clients with fire safety requirements on site; experience with risk assessment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct checks and remove any fire hazard identified in the premises.
• Monitor maintenance of fire safety systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Recommend tests for fire safety systems to ensure good operating condition.
• Create awareness among occupants for a fire-safe environment.
• Conduct fire safety campaigns/talks/discussions/lessons.
• Assist, coordinate and document fire safety meetings.
• Conduct fire drills, table-top exercises (TTE) and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Liaise with Malaysian Authorities on fire safety matters and requirements.
• Accommodate reasonable client requests.

• Conduct fire safety campaign / talks / discussion / lesson.
• Assist, co-ordinate and document fire safety meetings.
• Conduct fire drills, table-top exercise (TTE) and evaluate the effectiveness of said exercises and drills.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with Malaysian Authorities on all matters relating to fire safety and its requirements.
• Accommodate any reasonable request by clients
