Job summary

Conlay Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to assist the Project Manager in monitoring all safety works on the site and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. The role includes coordinating subcontractor safety activities and maintaining housekeeping to uphold high safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or related discipline, with 3+ years in construction, preferably in highrise projects, and JKKP

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Building, Science or other related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in construction environment, with at least 1 year in a similar capacity.
• With working experience in highrise building construction work is an advantage.
• Must have JKKP registration (green book).
• Familiar with OSHA requirements and knowledgeable in safety practices.
• Computer literate and familiar with MS Office
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to control and monitor all safety works on the project.
• Implement policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as required by the quality management system.
• Implement project operations and document control procedures.
• Supervise, monitor and control daily safety works at the project site and adhere to document control procedure.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s safety activities at project site.
• Maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• Ensure all works carried out are in accordance with drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, method statements, etc.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.
