Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor workplace safety and health activities across all departments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and local regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports.
• Monitor PPE usage and conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
• Coordinate emergency drills and follow up on corrective actions.
• Liaise with authorities, auditors, and contractors on safety matters.

Coordinate and monitor workplace safety and health activities across all departments.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and local regulatory standards.

Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at the workplace.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports with corrective actions.

Monitor and ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Organize and conduct safety induction, toolbox meetings, and safety training for employees and contractors.

Maintain and update safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.

Coordinate emergency response drills such as fire drills and evacuation exercises.

Follow up on corrective and preventive actions related to safety findings.

Liaise with government authorities, external auditors, and contractors on safety-related matters.

Monitor workplace housekeeping and ensure safe work practices are followed.

Support implementation of ISO, HACCP, GMP, or other compliance standards where applicable.

Promote safety awareness and continuously improve workplace safety culture.

Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
