Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior SAP MM consultant in Malaysia to lead functional implementation and support projects. You will own MM process design, P2P cycles, and master data setup, ensuring alignment with business goals and go-live readiness.

You will drive workshops, collaborate with cross-functional teams, document detailed specs, and provide strong client-facing support during all project phases.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of SAP MM functional implementation and support/ rollout experience.
• Deep understanding of MM concepts: P2P, GR/IR, Inventory, landed costs, valuation.
• Expertise in PR/PO release strategies, reporting and special procurement processes.
• Experience with interfaces, IDOC handling, APIs and special stocks.
• Strong MM master data, configuration data and transactional data management.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proficient in conducting business workshops and requirements gathering.
• Ability to document functional specs and configurations precisely.

Responsibilities

• Drive SAP MM functional design and configuration for projects.

• Support go-live activities and post-go-live support for MM modules.
• Develop and document functional specs and test scripts.

Job description

• Minimum 10-12 years of SAP MM Functional Implementation & Support/ Rollout Project Experience.
• Deep understanding of MM concepts like Organization structure, Procure to Pay(P2P) cycle, Purchase requisition, Purchase order, Inventory Management, MM System Configuration – testing & Go live and support experience, Landed Cost/ GR matching/ Inventory Valuation, MM Sourcing,Invoicing, MM strategies, etc.,
• Should have expertise in PR/ PO Release strategies, Reporting, Special procurement business process etc.,
• Working knowledge in Interface areas, IDOC Handling, API, Special stocks handling, MM support level handling etc.,
• Strong skills required on MM Master data, Configuration data & Transactional data & Issue Analyzing.
• Must have good communication skills & client facing experience.
• Interactive with Cross functional & Technical support.
• Should be good in Functional specification & Documentation.
