Job summary

Qaaf Resources Sdn. Bhd is seeking an SAP MM Consultant (API Platform Architect) to drive MM customization and configuration across purchasing, inventory management and master data.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with SAP MM, end-to-end project implementation, and collaboration with business users to capture requirements and deliver scalable solutions. You will design, test, train and support MM processes across modules.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in MM functional customization and enhancement.
• Experience in full cycle SAP project implementation.
• Experience with Material Master data, Purchasing, Inventory Management.
• Develop functional and technical specifications.
• Analyze business processes and fit/gap scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Configure MM module components to align with business requirements.
• Design, customize, configure and test MM processes.
• Perform business process analysis and fit/gap analysis.
• Prepare development/implementation plans with milestones and risk assessments.
• Train end users for MM transactions and master data maintenance.
• Transport solutions from development to production environments.
• Document designs, test cases, and results for MM changes.

A professional at this position level must have the following responsibilities :-

SAP MM Technical Skill

• Min 5 years’ experiencein MM functional customizationand enhancement especially in Inventory Management
• Experience and involve in afull cycleSAP projectimplementation
• Configured variant configuration Master Data Created various characteristics, Classes, Configuration profile.
• Configured Material Management module like Material Master data, Purchasing, Inventory Management.
• Development of functional and technical specifications.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of MM.
• Business process analysis and fit/gap analysis.
• Configuration of system as per business requirements.
• Should be flexible to handle issues coming up in MM integration areas.
• Conducted end user training for purchasing officers and material master data administrator.
• Improved existing configuration and procedures, and archiving testing and procedures (Master Data), customer master configuration with hierarchy.
• Created master data, vendor master, quota arrangement, info record, source list, condition types and condition records.
• Trained in configuring material master data for the purchasing, quality, plant storage, MRP and warehouse management views.
• Worked on Master data changes in Quality including defect types, Material specifications, Task list, and Info record.
• Work with customers in gathering business requirements for MM customization / implementation.
• Work across multiplemodulesto understand integration or the impact on the change done.
• Designing, planning and managing the MM customization / implementation process.
• Prepare development / implementation plans including the risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details.
• Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the proposed plan.
• Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out all activities.
• Perform testing with user and also involve in transporting the solution from development to staging and to production
• Document functional designs, specifications, test cases and results to meet business requirements.
