Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an RTR Assistant Manager in Selangor to oversee financial planning and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role emphasizes governance, operations, and month-end close with a focus on process improvement.

Ideal candidates will bring 8+ years in RTR/accounting, IFRS/SOX awareness, SAP ECC, HFM, MS Office proficiency, and strong leadership in a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of management accounting, reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Minimum 8 years of RTR/accounting experience, including 3 years in Management Accounting.
• Proficient in IFRS, SOX compliance, SAP ECC, HFM, and MS Office; BlackLine is an advantage.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly accountable with excellent communication skills.
• Experienced in KPI/SLA management, workforce planning, and data-driven process improvements.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Governance & Stakeholder Management: Partner with Local Finance, Business Leaders, and outsourced providers to define and enhance service levels, KPIs, and technology requirements.
• Lead RTR migrations and transitions into the SSC/FSC, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and process continuity.
• Conduct monthly financial review meetings with Finance Directors and drive action follow-ups.
• Ensure accurate FTE capacity planning aligned with workload volumes and productivity metrics.
• Operations Management: Oversee RTR management accounting operations and outsourced service delivery across the region.
• Monitor SLAs and KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of management reporting, P&L reviews, margin analysis, month-end close, and advisory activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage royalty accounting and project accounting activities.
• Drive continuous process improvements and issue resolution.
• Month-End Close & Reporting: Manage end-to-end R2R activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely month-end close.
• Complete HFM and SAP closing activities.
• Review outsourced provider performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform financial analysis on revenue, margins, overheads, and marketing spend.
• Maintain a strong control environment and healthy balance sheet position.
• Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to global RTR processes, controls, and corporate policies.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks and control gaps.
• Support audit activities and maintain process documentation.
• Process Improvement & Transformation: Drive process standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with Global Process Owners on system enhancements and best practices.
• Support change management, process training, and stakeholder communications.
• Escalate vendor performance or business continuity issues as required.
• Lead knowledge transfers and standardization efforts for new business migrations.
