Job summary

Liwee Transport is seeking a logistics professional to develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules for efficient, cost-effective delivery of goods. The role requires evaluating mileage, fuel, and delivery times to identify improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will work with internal teams and external partners, using TMS software to track shipments, analyze performance, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Diploma or equivalent and above.
• Preferable candidate able to speak and understand Mandarin.
• Develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software to plan, track, and manage shipments.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Invoicing, Admin, Store, Account) and external partners (e.g., Customer, Site person, Agent) to coordinate logistics operations.
• Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare reports on transportation activities, costs, and efficiency for management review.
• Respond to and resolve transportation-related issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in the negotiation of transport fees and service agreements with customer. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transportation activities and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and transportation department.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods, considering factors such as traffic, delivery windows, and vehicle capacity.
• Analyze transportation data, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times, to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with customer and purchaser to coordinate logistics, resolve delivery issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software to plan, track, and manage shipments, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of transportation budgets and cost analyses, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and other stakeholders to provide clear instructions, updates, and support throughout the transportation
• Preparing accurate billing statements based on delivery receipts, rate cards, and contracts.
• Cross-checking proof of delivery (POD) documents against customer orders.
• Correcting billing discrepancies and handling customer inquiries regarding charges.
