Job summary

Liwee Transport is seeking a Logistics/Transportation Planner in Malaysia to develop and optimize routes and schedules for cost-efficient delivery. You will use TMS and related software to plan, track, and manage shipments, and coordinate with invoicing, admin, store and accounts teams as well as external customers and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferable candidate able to speak and understand Mandarin.
• Experience using TMS or similar logistics software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Utilize TMS and other software to plan, track, and manage shipments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate logistics operations.
• Monitor transportation performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare reports on transportation activities, costs, and efficiency for management.
• Respond to transportation-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in negotiating transport fees and service agreements with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and transportation.
