Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics/Transport Coordinator to develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods, using TMS and related software to plan, track, and manage shipments.

You will collaborate with invoicing, admin, store and account teams, monitor performance metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, prepare reports, respond to inquiries promptly, and contribute to continuous improvement in the logistics and transportation

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Diploma or equivalent and above.
• Preferable candidate able to speak and understand Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software to plan, track, and manage shipments.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Invoicing, Admin, Store, Account) and external partners to coordinate logistics operations.
• Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare reports on transportation activities, costs, and efficiency for management review.
• Respond to and resolve transportation-related issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in the negotiation of transport fees and service agreements with customer.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transportation activities and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and transportation department.
