Qualifications

• Excellent hand–eye coordination and attention to detail
• Comfortable using a computer and learning new software quickly
• Enjoy hands-on work and precision with tools and equipment
• Able to visualize robot movements and operate safely
• Team player with ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic arms and grippers via teleoperation to pick, place, assemble, sort and handle tools.
• Capture and document synchronized robot data during teleoperation sessions.
• Monitor performance, ensure safe operation, and log outcomes and anomalies.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve teleoperation, responsiveness and data quality.
• Maintain metadata logs for data collection (objects, environments, tools, outcomes).
• Wear VR headset for first-person data collection tasks and ensure task procedures are followed.
• Review and annotate captured data for AI training.
• Perform basic maintenance on robots, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Assist with workcell setup, installation, calibration, safety checks, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment supporting day-to-day robotics operations.
