Job summary

Quicktron Robotics is seeking a project-focused engineer to lead site layout, engineering design, commissioning of mobile robots, and on-site customer training across SEA markets.

The role emphasizes project control (schedule, cost, quality), coordination of contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and performance standards, with frequent travel required.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics or Computing.
• Be organized and planned with good communication and coordination skills; and have business negotiation skills.
• Able to withstand stress, handle demanding circumstances and long-term business trips.
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin in addition to native language.
• Ability to perform software system setup, configuration and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Execute project work per project plan under the project manager, including site layout, engineering design, site setup, commissioning of mobile robots and systems, customer operation training, remote and production support.
• Active role in project control topics – schedule, cost and quality.
• Lead, manage and coordinate site contractors and vendors.
• Maintain close communication with customers, build good relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Review deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide operational and technical training to customers on site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
