Job summary

Coherent Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee ROADM product line, plan shifts, and ensure output meets delivery schedules and internal pack plans.

You will monitor line performance, resolve bottlenecks, manage headcount allocation based on priority, and drive lean improvements in a high-volume environment.

On-site role with a focus on KPI achievement, quality, and teamwork, supporting an expanding operation in Perak with a strong culture of ICARE principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years in a high-volume high-mix production environment; at least 3 years in supervisory role.
• Experience with Oracle/ERP/SAP/MRP tools.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute shift target plans and monitor line performance to enhance output and efficiency.
• Share and clarify the job scope, KPIs and performance expectations.
• Manage headcount allocation based on product priority and production demand for optimal manpower.
• Lead end-to-end production delivery for ROADM products meeting delivery and schedule targets.
• Take corrective action on DLs via DAFs and follow-up with clinics for attendance related to MC patterns.
• Execute RTV process and compile monthly shift attendance data for reports.
• Leave approvals in Ramco and update EIP system data.
• Identify aging module and drive production run; move module to MRB; investigate issues for audits.
• Process workflow requests for company properties, garments, materials (MTF), and WIP returns to main store.
• Interview and screen DL to fulfill manpower requirements.
