Job summary

KEMENA HOLDING SDN BHD is seeking a Site Technician – Road Maintenance to perform regular site inspections, assess road conditions, and identify defects such as potholes, cracks, and pavement failures. Qualifications

• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution of works
• Maintain proper records of inspections, measurements, maintenance activities, materials, equipment, and completed works
• Assist in emergency and ad-hoc road maintenance works, including road damage, flooding, accidents, and other urgent site issues

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to assess road conditions and identify defects such as potholes, cracks, pavement failures, damaged road shoulders, and other road-related issues
• Monitor road maintenance activities, including pothole patching, resurfacing, road shoulder repairs, drainage works, road marking, signage installation, and other maintenance works
• Perform site measurements and verify completed work quantities, including asphalt, premix, aggregates, excavation, and other construction materials
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and required standards
• Prepare daily site reports, inspection reports, progress updates, checklists, and photographic records
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and within the required timeframe
• Monitor workers, machinery, equipment, and material usage at the work site
• Assist in checking and verifying contractor work progress and quantities for payment claims
• Monitor traffic management arrangements, barricades, warning signs, PPE, and other safety requirements during road maintenance activities
• Identify and report site hazards, defects, delays, and technical issues to the Site Supervisor or Engineer
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution of works
• Maintain proper records of inspections, measurements, maintenance activities, materials, equipment, and completed works
