Job summary

Nexpipo is seeking a dynamic Project Architect Lead to spearhead architectural and interior design projects from concept through completion in Malaysia. The role emphasizes design excellence, stakeholder management, and timely delivery.

Requirements include a degree in architecture, 3–5 years of related experience, and fluency in Mandarin with English as an added advantage. Strong CAD and BIM skills are essential for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in architecture or interior design; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience leading architectural or interior design projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and interior design projects from initial concept to final completion
• Review and approve design drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Ensure designs meet quality, regulatory, and client requirements
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Mentor and guide junior architects and designers
• Provide direction and support to ensure team performance and growth
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and expectations
• Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and design innovations
• Propose creative and practical design solutions

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Architect Lead to lead architectural and interior design projects from concept to completion. This role requires strong design expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and interior design projects from initial concept to final completion
• Review and approve design drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Ensure all designs meet quality, regulatory, and client requirements
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Mentor and guide junior architects and designers
• Provide direction and support to ensure team performance and growth
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and expectations
• Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in architecture or interior design
• Experience in project lead or senior architect role is preferred

Language

• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken & written)
• English proficiency is an added advantage

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Suite
• Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, and construction standards

Working Time
