We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to support chargeback and dispute operations within a leading digital platform organization. This role plays a critical part in protecting the business from payment fraud and revenue loss by investigating chargeback cases, preparing dispute evidence, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.

Review, investigate, and manage end-to-end chargeback dispute cases.
Analyze transaction history and user accounts to assess dispute validity.
Prepare, compile, and submit dispute evidence to acquiring banks within required timelines.
Monitor chargeback status and outcomes, ensuring cases are followed through to resolution.
Communicate with acquirers and external partners regarding dispute-related matters.
Handle chargeback cancellations, appeals, and user communications professionally.
Identify fraud trends, recurring dispute patterns, and potential risk exposures.
Produce accurate reports on chargeback volumes, outcomes, and root causes.
Support additional risk functions such as KYC/KYB verification and risk investigations as business needs evolve.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, Analytics, IT, or related disciplines.
Understanding of chargeback operations, payment disputes, fraud prevention, risk management, KYC/KYB, or AML concepts is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced operational environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willing to work on a 6-month contract basis and support varying operational requirements when necessary.
Experience in payment operations, fraud operations, chargebacks, banking operations, e-wallets, fintech, insurance claims, or dispute management.
Exposure to KYC/KYB onboarding, AML reviews, or risk investigation processes.
