Job summary

CIMB Bank Berhad seeks an Associate in Rewards Analytics & Performance to support regional compensation and performance initiatives across Malaysia. You will prepare and analyse rewards data, support benchmarking, and coordinate annual and mid-year reviews while maintaining accurate management information.

The role emphasizes strong Excel-based modelling, dashboards, and collaboration with HR Partners, Finance and other stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions in rewards programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, economics, finance or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of rewards, HR analytics, compensation and benefits, finance, consulting or related analytical function.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables, lookups, data validation and cleaning of large datasets.
• Ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear insights.
• Experience with HR systems, Power BI or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate and analyse compensation and benefits data from internal and external sources.
• Support participation in salary and benefits surveys, including data preparation, submission and results analysis.
• Prepare market benchmarking reports and identify relevant compensation trends.
• Support the coordination of annual and mid-year salary and performance review exercises.
• Consolidate recommendations and data submissions from HR teams across Malaysia and the region.
• Maintain rewards data covering base salary, variable pay, benefits and related employee information.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models, trackers and dashboards.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners, HR teams, Finance and other stakeholders.
