Job summary

Kutub Trading is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead a team of 15 staff across wholesale and retail operations. You will oversee daily activities, manage staff performance, and liaise with Stock OA and Transport OA to ensure smooth coordination between sales, inventory, and delivery functions.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and hands-on problem-solving expertise in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role in wholesale, retail, or trading.
• Proven ability to lead a team of 10+ staff.
• Experience coordinating with stock/inventory and transport/logistics functions is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, fair, and decisive under pressure.
• Good understanding of cash handling and sales reconciliation.
• Hands-on, proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of 15 staff, including cashiers, sales, and warehouse personnel.
• Prepare staff schedules, assign duties, and manage shift coverage.
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and conduct on-the-job training for new and existing employees.
• Liaise with the Stock OA to monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and prevent shortages or overstock.
• Liaise with the Transport OA to coordinate delivery schedules, ensure timely dispatch of orders, and resolve any delivery-related issues.
• Maintain a positive, motivated, and disciplined team environment.
