Job summary

Capital Food Distributor Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Field Merchandiser to support our retail partners in Semenyih, Selangor. You will visit assigned supermarkets, ensure products are displayed, monitor stock levels, and assist with promotions to drive sales.

Responsibilities include shelf layout, FIFO inventory, price tagging, reporting merchandising activities, and maintaining good relationships with outlet staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with supermarket/retail merchandising and route visits.
• Ability to monitor stock, identify OOS items and replenish stock.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory and merchandising guidelines.
• Ability to support promotions and in-store activities with outlet staff.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores and retail outlets per scheduled route.
• Ensure products are properly arranged, displayed and visible to customers.
• Monitor stock levels and perform stock replenishment when required.
• Check product availability and identify out-of-stock items.
• Ensure prices, promotional tags and materials are displayed correctly.
• Monitor expiry dates, batch info and product condition.
• Arrange products per merchandising guidelines and FIFO principles.
• Check shelf space and coordinate with outlet staff for placement.
• Take photos of displays and submit merchandising reports daily/weekly.
• Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions and shelf displays.
• Report damaged, expired, missing or slow-moving stock to Sales/Operations.
• Assist Sales team during promotions, roadshows, launches and in-store activities.
• Maintain good relationships with outlet staff and ensure smooth communication.
• Follow visitation schedule and complete outlet reports accurately.
• Perform other sales/merchandising duties as assigned by Sales Manager.

• Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores and retail outlets according to the scheduled route.
• Ensure products are properly arranged, displayed and easily visible to customers.
• Monitor stock levels and perform stock replenishment when required.
• Check product availability and identify out-of-stock (OOS) items.
• Ensure product prices, promotional tags and promotional materials are correctly displayed.
• Monitor product expiry dates, batch information and product condition.
• Arrange products according to company merchandising guidelines and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
• Check shelf space and negotiate/coordinate with outlet personnel for better product placement where applicable.
• Take photos of product displays and submit daily/weekly merchandising reports.
• Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions and shelf displays.
• Report damaged, expired, missing or slow-moving stock to the Sales/Operations team.
• Assist the Sales team during promotions, roadshows, launches and in-store activities.
• Maintain good relationships with outlet staff and ensure smooth communication regarding stock and merchandising matters.
• Follow the assigned visitation schedule and complete all required outlet reports accurately.
• Perform other sales and merchandising duties assigned by the Sales Manager.
