Job summary

KK Super Mart Melaka is seeking a Shop Assistant (Full Time) to support daily store operations, manage inventory, and assist customers. You will be responsible for receiving and merchandising goods, maintaining a tidy store, operating POS systems, and ensuring the safety of store assets.

The ideal candidate holds SPM or equivalent, with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree as a plus, and 1–3 years of retail experience, including supervisory duties. Own transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the store.
• Operate store equipment according to procedures.
• Ensure safety and care of store property and assets.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Handle emergencies and report to relevant personnel.
