Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) invites applications for a Shop Assistant (Full Time) at KK Super Mart Melaka, Taman Asean. The role involves receiving, recording, arranging, inspecting and returning goods, while maintaining order and cleanliness on the shop floor and ensuring safety of store assets.

You will provide courteous customer service, operate POS systems, and handle emergencies, reporting to supervisors as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail experience, supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods as part of inventory handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store premises.
• Operate and handle all store equipment and machines per company procedures.
• Ensure safety and care of store property and assets.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Handle emergencies appropriately and report to relevant personnel when necessary.
• Uphold and maintain KK Supermart’s good image and reputation.
