Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced and energetic Retail Sales Supervisor / Associates to join our team at Ginger Home, our retail store in Bangsar Village, Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur. Candidates must have a passion for sales, and a flair for customer service. The candidate will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the retail store.

As a Retail Sales Supervisor / Associate, you will be responsible for all in-store sales and be contributing towards the success of our retail business. A competitive salary with good commissions and benefits await the right candidates. This is an opportunity to work in a friendly and engaging environment.

So what is your role about?

Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner

Assisting and contributing towards the in-store sales of the home & living lifestyle products at Ginger Home in Bangsar Village to achieve sales targets and KPIs

Providing customers with knowledgeable product recommendations and advise efficiently, and be service-oriented

Involving in the general store operations, including visual merchandising, updating records and stock, and housekeeping

Maintaining a good working environment in the store

Who are we looking for?

Candidates must possess a good educational background (at least SPM level), with a good command of both written and spoken English

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role with an aptitude for sales

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and have a cheerful & friendly disposition

Basic computer skills, with some knowledge of POS systems

Ability to build and maintain good rapport with customers

Must be willing to work with flexibility in shifts in a 48 hour week, including weekends and public holidays, in a shopping mall environment

Malaysians (non-Malaysians with relevant work permits)
