Job summary

Rigel Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Retail Sales Executive to drive revenue growth in its dynamic consumer products retail network. You will lead sales activities, manage key accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver superior service while exploring new market opportunities.

Travel is required to support distributors and customers. You should hold a Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing with at least two years of relevant experience and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of proven, relevant sales experience (retail or consumer products background highly advantageous).
• Strong, verifiable track record of sales success and achieving targets.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-driven focus.
• Adaptable and highly resourceful with commitment to excel in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent business acumen with sensitivity to market trends and new business requirements.
• Experience in opening up new market territories is a definite asset.
• Experience in consumer durables and building distribution networks is advantageous.
• Ability to travel frequently as required.

Key responsibilities

Be the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and seamless order processing for valued clients

Proactively scout, develop, and strategically launch new and emerging business opportunities and product lines

Conduct in-depth market analysis, monitoring competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches to inform sales strategies

Plan and execute impactful sales promotional activities, including trade fairs and exhibitions, to maximize brand visibility and exposure

Continuously identify and propose improvements based on industry trends, market activities, and competitor insights

Ensure seamless communication and high-quality execution by effectively liaising with internal departments and external partners

About you

Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of proven, relevant sales experience (retail or consumer products background highly advantageous)
