Job summary

YFS Corporate (M) Sdn Bhd invites applications for Sales Assistant roles in multiple Penang mall locations. You will welcome customers, help with product selection, and process payments with POS systems.

Training is provided, and weekend/holiday shifts are required. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred; Mandarin is a plus. Competitive salary plus commission and incentives, with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent; diploma/degree is a plus.
• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
• Friendly, proactive and team-oriented.
• Must be able to work on weekends, public holidays and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with inquiries and product selection.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Maintain product knowledge to provide accurate information.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments using POS systems.
• Organize product displays and replenish shelves.
• Keep the sales floor clean and visually appealing.
• Support stock-taking and inventory management.
• Assist in promotional activities and upsell where appropriate.
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
