Job summary

GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is hiring Retail Pharmacists across Klang Valley and Penang areas. The role involves dispensing medications, advising customers on health products, and conducting basic health screenings.

You will maintain inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and support health events in a dynamic retail environment. Requirements include a Pharmacy degree, registration with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia, a valid Type A Poison License, and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management capabilities to lead pharmacy teams.
• Ability to provide professional guidance in a retail healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.
• Excellent communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and provide guidance on medications including controlled drugs as per regulations.
• Advise customers on health-related products and OTC medicines.
• Perform basic health screenings and support health events.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper stock levels and expiry checks.
• Ensure compliance with Poisons Act and record prescriptions properly.
• Train store staff on health products and services.
