Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an HRBP Manager in Malaysia to lead the people agenda across its retail store network. You will balance workforce planning with talent needs while ensuring strong employee relations and operational HR execution across multi-site environments.

The role requires hands-on leadership, managing a team of 10 HRBPs in five regions, driving recruitment for retail and medical talent, implementing policies, and presenting analytics to senior management.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years experience in business partnering.
• Retail experience is mandatory.
• Willing to travel across Malaysia.
• Experience supporting large dispersed retail networks.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning and talent acquisition for frontline operations.
• Commercially minded HR leader with a proactive and practical approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 HRBPs supporting 5 regions.
• Lead workforce planning initiatives to ensure adequate staffing levels across retail outlets.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for both retail and medical talent.
• Ensure company policies are effectively implemented and consistently applied.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Prepare and present HR-related reports and analytics to senior management.
