Job Description

Customer Service: Greet customers, offer product advice, handle queries, and drive sales targets.

Sales & Cashiering: Process sales transactions accurately via the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and manage exchanges or returns.

Merchandising: Maintain visual merchandising, keep the sales floor clean, and organize displays.

Stock Management: Receive incoming deliveries, unpack shipments, and replenish shelves following First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles.

Inventory Tracking: Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with periodic physical stocktakes to reconcile system records with actual floor/stockroom inventory.

Discrepancy Reporting: Flag damaged, expired, or missing items immediately and investigate root causes for stock variances.

Loss Prevention: Monitor the sales floor for suspicious activity, report potential shoplifting or internal shrink risks to management, and adhere to store security protocols.

Accurate Processing: Ensure all markdowns, returns, and inter-store product transfers are accurately logged into the inventory software to prevent data errors.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum SPM Levels or a High School Diploma.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in a retail, customer service, or inventory handling environment (fresh graduates or candidates with on-the-job training eligibility are frequently welcomed).

Core Skills

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS or inventory tracking systems.

Good arithmetic and strong attention to detail for counting stock accurately.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long shifts and handle light-to-moderate lifting during stock replenishment.
