Uniqso Holdings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a customer-focused sales assistant for its coloured contact lens store. You will greet customers, understand needs, explain lens colours, designs, specs, replacement schedules, and care instructions, and work toward store sales targets.

You will handle cashier duties, stock replenishment, maintain displays, assist promotions, and refer eye-health concerns to qualified eye-care professionals.

Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable coloured contact lens designs and accessories. You will explain lens colours, designs, specifications, replacement schedules, and basic lens care instructions while working towards individual and store sales targets and providing an excellent shopping experience.

• Explain lens colours, designs, specifications, replacement schedules, and basic lens care instructions
• Work towards individual and store sales targets while providing an excellent shopping experience
• Handle cashier duties, POS transactions, stock replenishment, and inventory checks
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the store is clean, organised, and welcoming
• Assist with in-store promotions, product launches, and occasional social media activities
• Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat purchases
• Follow store hygiene procedures and refer lens fitting, prescription, and eye-health concerns to qualified eye-care professionals

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to learn about coloured contact lenses and proper lens care
• Basic numeracy and ability to handle cashier transactions
• Responsible, honest, and attentive to detail
• Able to communicate in Bahasa, English and Mandarin
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing retail environment
• Comfortable working retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays when scheduled
• Previous experience in retail sales, beauty, cosmetics, optical, or fashion stores (preferred)
