Job summary

UpGrowth HR Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Optical professional to conduct eye examinations, prescribe lenses or visual aids, and advise on lens and frame options. You will ensure precise prescription measurements and maintain thorough records to comply with optical standards.

You will also support the sales team with product knowledge and customer education while aiming to hit monthly KPIs and deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Registration with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) and a valid APC is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
• 1–3 years of practical experience in optical retail or opticianry.

• Achieve monthly individual and outlet KPIs related to consultation conversion rate, product recommendation uptake, and customer retention.

• Maintain professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/ Degree in Optometry or Opticianry is preferred.

• Registration with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) and a valid APC is an added advantage, but not mandatory.

• Candidates with 1-3 years of practical experience in optical retail or opticianry (without formal qualification) are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Willingness to work retail shifts, weekends, and public holidays. (5-days per week, long hour shift with OT)
