Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is seeking a customer service representative to support daily store operations and help achieve sales targets.

You will handle cashiering duties, balance tills, and actively promote PLC memberships to meet customer needs. The role involves replenishing stock, assisting with stock takes, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment. Weekend and public holiday work is required as part of the job, with opportunities for growth within a leading pet retail

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Good communication and active selling skills.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the store to meet sales targets.
• Perform cashiering duties and balance cash registers.
• Promote PLC memberships and sign-ups/renewals to customers.
• Assist in replenishing stock and stock counts/exercises.
• Maintain cleanliness and a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by store supervisor.

Job description

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers’ needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/supervisor.

Requirements

Individuals who are hardworking, matured and of pleasant personality are encouraged to apply. Good communication skills and self-motivated sales person are added advantages.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possessing own transport is an added advantage.

Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
