Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is seeking a customer service-oriented Retail Sales Assistant in Malaysia.

The role focuses on meeting sales targets, handling cashier duties, and promoting PLC memberships. You will support stock replenishment and help maintain a clean, safe store environment for customers and pets. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and having own transport is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day business operations of the retail store to meet sales targets and KPIs in line with business objectives.
• Perform cashiering functions and balance cash registers.
• Recommend and promote PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers' needs and objectives.
• Assist in replenishing out-of-stock items on the display and participate in stock-take exercises.
• Maintain general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff, customers, and pets.
• Carry out daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge or supervisor.

Job description

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers' needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/supervisor.

Requirements

Individuals who are hardworking, matured and of pleasant personality are encouraged to apply. Good communication skills and self-motivated sales person are added advantages.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possessing own transport is an added advantage.

Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
