Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is hiring a Retail Assistant for the SS2 Central store. This full-time role supports daily store operations, processes sales and memberships, and helps maintain product displays and stock levels.

You will perform cashiering, promote memberships, and assist with stock takes and housekeeping. Fresh graduates are welcome, with training provided and weekend/holiday shifts expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering functions and balance cash registers.
• Promote PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customer needs.
• Support replenishment of out-of-stock items and assist in stock-take exercises.
• Maintain general housekeeping for a clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.
• Assist in daily store operations as directed by supervisor.

Retail Assistant @ SS2 Central (Full Time)

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers’ needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/ supervisor.

Requirements

Individuals who are hardworking, matured and of pleasant personality are encouraged to apply. Good communication skills and self-motivated sales person are added advantages.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possessing own transport is an added advantage.

Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

Willing to work at SS2 Central.

Sign-on Bonus: up to RM600 for initial first 7 months of service
