Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant for Toppen Shopping Centre in Johor. The role focuses on customer service, achieving sales targets, and supporting daily store operations.

You will balance cash registers, promote memberships, replenish stock, keep the shop tidy, and assist with stock-take and ad-hoc duties. Fresh graduates are welcome; owning transport is an added advantage. Weekend/public holiday work is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support day-to-day store operations to meet sales targets/KPIs.
• Perform cashiering functions and balance cash registers.
• Promote product and PLC membership sign-ups/renewals as needed.
• Replenish out-of-stock items and assist in stock-take activities.
• Maintain general housekeeping for a clean and safe environment.
• Assist in other daily operations as assigned by supervisor.

Retail Assistant @ Toppen Shopping Centre

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers’ needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/supervisor.

Requirements
