Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is seeking a customer service representative to support the day-to-day operations of the retail store and help achieve sales targets. The role includes cashiering, promoting PLC memberships, and assisting with stock replenishment and counts.

You will also help maintain a clean, safe environment for staff, customers and pets, with additional duties assigned by the supervisor. Weekend and public holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, pleasant personality and good communication are preferred.
• Self-motivated sales attitude is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Possessing own transport is an added advantage.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day operations of the retail store to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Perform cashiering and balance cash registers for purchases.
• Promote PLC memberships and renewals to meet customer needs and objectives.
• Support stock replenishment, stock counts, and display upkeep.
• Maintain general housekeeping for a clean, safe store environment.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the store supervisor.

Job description

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers' needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/supervisor.

Requirements

Individuals who are hardworking, matured and of pleasant personality are encouraged to apply. Good communication skills and self-motivated sales person are added advantages.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possessing own transport is an added advantage.
