Job summary

Golden is seeking a capable Café Operations Manager to lead daily activities at the Putrajaya location. You will drive operations strategy to meet company objectives and sales targets, ensuring recipes, portions, cooking and service standards are consistently followed.

You will oversee cash handling, staff scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations while guiding ongoing staff development and reporting.

Qualifications

Must demonstrate leadership and people management capabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination.
Ability to develop and implement cafe operations strategies.
Experience in cash handling and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage café operations strategy planning to achieve Company objectives and sales targets.
Ensure food and products are prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, and standards.
Control cash and other receipts per cash handling policies.
Oversee staffing decisions following Company guidelines.
Develop staff through managerial and professional development.
Prepare paperwork including reports and schedules accurately and timely.
Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and clean.
Receive deliveries according to policies and procedures.
Comply with health, safety, and labor regulations.

Job description

Manage café operations strategy planning to achieve the Company objectives and sales target
Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant recipes / portioning / cooking and serving standards
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
Make employment decisions consistent with the Company’s guidelines for approval or review
Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development
Prepare all required paperwork including forms / reports and schedules in an accurate and organized and timely manner
To ensure all supplies / equipment / tools and work stations are kept in clean and excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
Ensure all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures
Comply with federal / state / county and municipal regulations that pertain to health / safety and labor requirements of the restaurant / employees and guests
Assist and lead the daily / weekly and monthly reporting activities
Attend scheduled meetings at HQ and conduct daily / weekly and monthly briefings at outlet level
Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility
Provide support on solving café operations problem and issues
Perform any other duties that are assigned to you from time to time and to follow all the rules and regulations set by the Company

Job Requirements

Must possess at least SPM or its equivalent
Minimum 5 years of working experience
Previous experience in F&B industry will be an added advantage
Self-motivated and dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal and communication and leadership skills
Good problem solving and strong analytical skills
Able to work under pressure and willing to work long hours including weekend and public holiday
Display creativity and initiative in carrying out duties
Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
