Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a customer‑centric retail associate for busy walk-in service at Central Market and TRX. You will greet customers, provide product information, and drive sales while maintaining stock and clean displays.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and training will be provided to build product knowledge and POS proficiency. The role requires friendly, well‑groomed, and punctual individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Retail/customer service experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cashier/POS system is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with product info and recommendations.
• Distribute samples hygienically and manage testers before/after shifts.
• Process purchases via POS or manually and maintain accurate records.
• Keep cart clean, organized, and well stocked at all times.
• Reconcile cash and digital payments at day-end; report discrepancies.
• Submit daily sales, cash and stock reports and alert supervisor on low stock.
• Stay updated on product features, ingredients, and promotions to assist customers.

Responsibility

• Customer service: Greet and assist walk in customers with product info and recommendations.
• Sampling: Distribute samples hygienically - clean testers before and after shifts
• Sales transaction: Process purchases via Point of Sales (POS) or manually - ensure accurate records
• Cart maintenance: Keep cart clean, organized and well stocked at all time
• Cash handling: Reconcile cash and digital payments at day-end; report discrepancies.
• Reporting: Submit daily sales, cash and stock report - alert supervisor on low or fast moving stock
• Product knowledge: Stay updated on product features, ingredients, and promotion to better assist customers

Working time:

• 9:30AM - 5:300PM/2PM -10PM
• 6 days per week
• Monday to Sunday (Off on Weekend (Saturday or Sunday)
• Off Public Holiday
