Job summary

Hot Bird is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for its Kuala Lumpur outlet. You will oversee daily operations in the restaurant and kitchen, ensuring efficiency, service quality, and adherence to SOPs while coordinating with the management team.

The role requires a minimum SPM/STPM, 1–2 years in kitchen or FOH, and strong Bahasa Malaysia and English communication, with weekend/public holiday availability. Training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/STPM
• 1–2 years of experience in kitchen or FOH preferred
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Responsible and independent
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing operations as directed by Management
• Ensure day-to-day operations align with management direction
• Communicate effectively with team members and managers
• Conduct daily stock checks and monthly stock takes with reports
• Submit end-of-day reports, opening/closing checklists accurately
• Assist in ordering supplies and monitor kitchen/FOH inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold SOPs
• Promote high service standards, sanitation, and training
• Support Outlet Manager in daily operations
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by Management

We are looking for suitable F&B Restaurant & Kitchen Supervisors for our outlet in Kuala Lumpur.

Requirements

• Min. SPM/STPM.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in kitchen or FOH is preferred.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Responsible and independent.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibility

• To assist in executing operations as assigned by the Management.
• To ensure day-to-day operations are in line with the direction set out by the managementteam
• To communicate constructively and efficiently with team members and managers
• To do daily stock checks and monthly stock takes along with its reports
• To submit any report i,e but not limited to end of day report, closing and opening checklist report, are correctly and accurately submitted
• To assist in ordering supplies and monitoring inventory levels for kitchen / foh.
• To ensure cleanliness and SOP being uphold
• Ensure a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training
• Promote a positive and collaborative working environment
• Support the Outlet Manager in daily operations
• Any ad-hoc duties as required by Management
