Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver memorable dining experiences with warm greetings and tailored recommendations. You’ll manage service from starter to dessert, keep your area stocked and clean, and assist in kitchen duties as needed.

You’ll work flexible shifts, with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork. The role includes uniform provision, generous room discounts, and comprehensive training to support your growth in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Able to read, write and perform basic maths.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Comply with local food handling and alcohol serving laws, and be of minimum age.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests with warmth, emphasis on memorable experiences from starter to dessert.
• Maintain high service standards and your section's cleanliness and stock.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed to support the team.
• Monitor waste and report safety incidents or low supplies to supervisor.
• Take on ad-hoc duties to keep service running smoothly.
