Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering a structured management training programme to fast-track candidates into leadership roles within our restaurant operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will gain hands-on experience in front-of-house and back-of-house activities, supervised by seasoned managers.

Successful trainees will lead by example on the floor, manage a team, coordinate service, and participate in training modules to track progress and readiness for an Assistant Restaurant Manager role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or those with 1-2 years' experience in F&B / retail / customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations (service flow, kitchen coordination, opening/closing).
• Lead by example on the floor - guide crew, solve issues, and keep service smooth.
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety and brand standards are followed at all times.
• Help with crew scheduling, briefings and on-the-job coaching.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints in a calm, professional way.
• Assist in stock ordering, inventory checks and basic cost control.
• Learn to read simple reports (sales, labour, wastage) and spot improvement areas.
• Take part in structured training modules and assessments to track your progress.
