Job summary

Vantris Energy Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst, Project Resources to support data-driven resource planning across the PMU. You will consolidate manpower, workload, project demand, and cost data to provide actionable insights for deployment, mobilisation, utilisation, and cost optimisation.

The role requires SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python skills, with 3–5 years in data analytics or BI in project environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of data analytics or BI experience.
• Experience in project-based environments or resource planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand vs capacity forecasts to support tendering and project mobilisation.
• Monitor manpower utilisation, manloading, bench strength, and resource allocation across projects.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI to support management decisions.
• Analyze costs and performance to improve efficiency in resource deployment.
